Karimajong village visit

A visit to the Karimajong village allows you to learn about the life of these people who are majorly pastoralists. You get to learn about their fascinating culture and see how they spend their day. The Karimajong are the dominant tribe of North Eastern Uganda and some lived in Kidepo valley before it was put up as a conservation area. They were forced to leave the protected area but a few homesteads still exist in the park. On your visit, you could support the community by buying their local handicrafts or give them gifts like clothes or scholastic materials like books to school children of the community.
