Shooting Star Lodge was founded in the early 90’s by Elly Mlang’a who is still owning the lodge. Starting as a simple bar/restaurant and B&B, over the years the small enterprise has metamorphosed from a simple beach bar and banda cottages to the authentic African boutique lodge that it is today, increasing the quality without losing the connection to the traditional roots.

Yet the essence of Shooting Star remains the same: a simple and tranquil hideaway, a magic place, barefoot luxury at its best, a beautiful slice of paradise exclusively for you …
